Putting the Sport in Sport-Utility!!
The roll bar is finally installed. I had the main and down tubs bent for me; the front tubes I bent myself, then I stripped the interior and welded the entire thing in myself. I am ecstatic on how much this stiffened up the chassis... the car handles way better, and the cowl shake is gone completely. Sliding over the side bars looses its fascination after a week or so, but its not a big deal. Maybe ten years from now when I'm older...
Note the extra bracing on the main tube, angled back to the chassis. This is the trick to making these bars add tremendously to the overall rigidity of the car.
